Český Krumlov

2025

Český Krumlov is an extraordinary architectural jewel. It’s the main reason why the city is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. A series of distinctive urban buildings have been developed on the winding Vltava River, mostly in the 16th century.

The historic Rožmberk has many castle buildings, as well as the famous costume ballroom, the recently opened Baroque theatre, the castle garden with the Rococo fountain, and the Bellarie with its rotating auditorium. The highlight of the town is the Gothic St. Vitus Church.

Tortuous medieval streets, picturesque townhouses, romantic corner alleys, cozy Vltava riverside cafes, medieval taverns, museums, galleries, exhibitions, concerts – you can find it all in Český Krumlov! In addition, the beautiful natural scenery of the surrounding coutryside is awaiting to be explored, ready to bring you an unforgettable and exciting experience.

The Vltava River, which surrounds the old town and the castle’s corner, is an indispensable source of charm for Český Krumlov. Relax in the riverside cafes, bars and restaurants. If you want to participate in various water activities, there are also boat trips available.
